Contains copyright, patent and trademark registrations for stoves, washing machines, etc. and Huenefeld Company catalogs, decals, sales convention pamphlets, radio advertising scripts and sound recordings (on one phonograph record), postcards, a cookbook, etc. Includes property records for their hotels, apartments and other downtown property. The collection also has architectural drawings of the Truman B. Handy residence by James W. McLaughlin and a few financial statements of the Burnet House. The bulk of the materials covers the years 1890 to 1950.

The E.H. Huenefeld Company was founded in 1872 when Ernst H. Huenefeld bought into a Cincinnati business owned by John Schroer. Later its name was changed to the Huenefeld Company. The company was a jobber of tin plate, and roofers' and tinners' supplies. The firm expanded into the manufacturing of stoves, ovens, washing machines and other metal products, including toy scooters and wagons. The company closed in 1966.
